About
Ahmed R. J. Alsaedi is the Founder and Head Researcher at Commoner Law. He built the site to solve a recurring problem: vital legal information exists, but it is written in language most people cannot parse without a law degree. Every article on Commoner Law traces directly to a primary source — a statute, regulation, or official government guidance — and is then rewritten at plain-language reading level without sacrificing accuracy.
His research spans 20+ countries, with particular depth in Gulf labour law, South Asian consumer protection, and US housing and workers' rights. All content is mapped to primary-source citations and reviewed on a rolling cadence as legislation changes.
Editorial Role
As Head Researcher, Ahmed sets and maintains Commoner Law's editorial methodology: every published right must cite a statute or regulation with a direct link to the official primary source, carry a verified review date, and pass an internal accuracy check before going live. Pages that cannot be verified against a primary source are withheld from search indexing until the citation is confirmed.
See the full methodology on the editorial process page.
