RE: Formal Demand — End-of-Service Gratuity & Final Entitlements
To the management of Gulf Logistics Solutions LLC:
I, Ravi N., a national of India, was employed by your establishment as a delivery driver from 1 March 2018 until 31 March 2026. I place you on formal notice of my end-of-service entitlements under UAE Federal Decree-Law 33/2021 and demand full settlement.
Under Article 51 of FDL 33/2021, end-of-service gratuity accrues at 21 days of basic wage for each of the first five years of service and 30 days of basic wage for each year thereafter, capped at two years' basic wage. Based on a service period of approximately 8 years and a last basic wage of AED 4,500 per month, the gratuity due is approximately AED 27,000 (21 days × 5 years + 30 days × 3 years, all at AED 150/day). Under Article 53, all final entitlements must be settled within 14 days of the end of the employment relationship.
Please settle the above amounts in full within 14 days by bank transfer to my account. If full settlement is not received, I will file a complaint with MOHRE and reserve all rights under Article 54 as amended by FDL 9/2024 (two-year limitation, in force from 31 August 2024).
