Your appeal will be filed with the First-tier Tribunal (Asylum Support) at Salford within 3 working days of you receiving the Home Office letter (5 working days from the postmark). The letter cites s.95(3) for the destitution test, s.98 for emergency accommodation while you wait, and where relevant Reg 3(2) of SI 2005/930 for the five s.4 conditions and Reg 20 of SI 2000/704 (as amended by SI 2026/209) for discontinuance.

Asylum support is reserved UK-wide. All appeals are heard at the First-tier Tribunal (Asylum Support) in Salford.

The 3-working-day clock runs from RECEIPT. If you cannot prove the receipt date, the Tribunal will use 5 working days from the postmark.
